Climate Wise Ambassador
Morgane has been environmentally-conscious since she can remember, growing up by the ocean in Redondo Beach, California. She first started thinking about climate change after watching Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth with her mother. However, it wasn’t until she moved to the Pacific Northwest U.S. for university that she began to learn about climate science and advocacy, and to truly appreciate the importance of nature. During this time she learned about environmental studies and the divestment movement, led her university’s chapter of a Washington State carbon tax initiative, and fell in love with Washington’s beautiful hiking trails. Morgane later went on to complete a Civic Service with the City of Paris Department of Green Spaces and the Environment and eventually earned a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from UCLA. She has since returned to Europe and is now living between France and England as she continues to seek out opportunities that address climate change globally.
