Des pertes d&rsquo;\u00e9paisseur moyennes de <a href=\"https:\/\/public.wmo.int\/en\/media\/press-release\/eight-warmest-years-record-witness-upsurge-climate-change-impacts#:~:text=Extreme%20heatwaves%2C%20drought%20and%20devastating,Global%20Climate%20in%202022%20report.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">3 \u00e0 plus de 4 m\u00e8tres<\/a> ont \u00e9t\u00e9 mesur\u00e9es dans les Alpes. Au Groenland, il a plu pour la premi\u00e8re fois en septembre et sa calotte glaciaire a perdu de la masse pour la<sup>26e<\/sup> ann\u00e9e cons\u00e9cutive. En Suisse, pour la premi\u00e8re fois dans l&rsquo;histoire, aucune neige n&rsquo;a d\u00e9pass\u00e9 la saison estivale. M\u00eame les sites de mesure les plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s n&rsquo;ont pas \u00e9t\u00e9 enneig\u00e9s, ce qui signifie qu&rsquo;il n&rsquo;y a pas eu d&rsquo;accumulation de glace fra\u00eeche. Entre 2021 et 2022, 6 % du volume de glace du glacier a \u00e9t\u00e9 perdu.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;augmentation de la fonte des glaces a acc\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9 l&rsquo;\u00e9l\u00e9vation du niveau de la mer. Entre janvier 2021 et ao\u00fbt 2022, le niveau de la mer a augment\u00e9 de 5 mm. Au cours des 30 derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, le niveau moyen de la mer s&rsquo;est \u00e9lev\u00e9 d&rsquo;environ 3,4 mm par an. L&rsquo;\u00e9tendue de la glace de mer arctique \u00e9tait inf\u00e9rieure de 4,87 millions de km2 \u00e0 la moyenne \u00e0 long terme. Le niveau le plus bas jamais enregistr\u00e9 a \u00e9t\u00e9 relev\u00e9 le<sup>25<\/sup> f\u00e9vrier, avec pr\u00e8s de 1 million de km2 de moins que la moyenne \u00e0 long terme.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;oc\u00e9an a absorb\u00e9 la plupart de nos \u00e9missions, stockant environ 90 % des gaz \u00e0 effet de serre d&rsquo;origine humaine. Des niveaux de r\u00e9chauffement record ont \u00e9t\u00e9 enregistr\u00e9s en 2021 dans la partie sup\u00e9rieure des 2000 m\u00e8tres, et ce r\u00e9chauffement ne fera que se poursuivre. Malgr\u00e9 les efforts d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s pour lutter contre le changement climatique, cette \u00e9volution est irr\u00e9versible sur des \u00e9chelles de temps allant du centenaire au mill\u00e9naire. En 2022, au moins une vague de chaleur marine a \u00e9t\u00e9 ressentie par 55 % de la surface des oc\u00e9ans. En revanche, seuls 22 % de la surface des oc\u00e9ans ont connu une vague de froid marin.<\/p>\n<p>Les concentrations des principaux gaz \u00e0 effet de serre &#8211; dioxyde de carbone, oxyde nitreux et m\u00e9thane &#8211; ont atteint des niveaux record en 2021 et ont continu\u00e9 \u00e0 augmenter en 2022. La temp\u00e9rature moyenne mondiale en 2022 est estim\u00e9e \u00e0 environ 1,15 degr\u00e9 Celsius au-dessus de la moyenne de l&rsquo;\u00e8re pr\u00e9industrielle. L&rsquo;ann\u00e9e 2022 devrait se classer au cinqui\u00e8me ou sixi\u00e8me rang des ann\u00e9es les plus chaudes jamais enregistr\u00e9es, un triple refroidissement La Nina l&rsquo;ayant emp\u00each\u00e9e de se situer plus haut dans l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle. Il s&rsquo;agit toutefois de l&rsquo;une des ann\u00e9es les plus chaudes de l&rsquo;histoire. La moyenne d\u00e9cennale jusqu&rsquo;en 2022 (2013-2022) est estim\u00e9e \u00e0 1,14 degr\u00e9 Celsius au-dessus du niveau de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence pr\u00e9industriel de 1850-1900, contre 1,09 degr\u00e9 Celsius entre 2011 et 2020.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-10179\" src=\"https:\/\/climate-wise.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/pexels-ian-turnell-709563-300x209.jpg.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"209\">L&rsquo;Afrique de l&rsquo;Est a souffert de pr\u00e9cipitations inf\u00e9rieures \u00e0 la moyenne pendant quatre saisons humides cons\u00e9cutives. La s\u00e9cheresse persistante qui en a r\u00e9sult\u00e9, combin\u00e9e \u00e0 d&rsquo;autres facteurs, a fait que 18,4 \u00e0 19,3 millions de personnes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 confront\u00e9es \u00e0 une crise alimentaire et ont souffert d&rsquo;ins\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire au cours des mois pr\u00e9c\u00e9dant le mois de juin de cette ann\u00e9e. Avec une nouvelle s\u00e9cheresse attendue pour la saison \u00e0 venir, la situation ne peut que s&rsquo;aggraver.<\/p>\n<p>Le Pakistan a subi de terribles inondations en juillet et ao\u00fbt, avec des pluies record qui ont caus\u00e9 la mort d&rsquo;au moins 1 700 personnes et affect\u00e9 plus de 33 millions d&rsquo;habitants, tout en d\u00e9pla\u00e7ant 7,9 millions de personnes. L&rsquo;ouragan Ian a frapp\u00e9 l&rsquo;Am\u00e9rique du Nord et du Sud plus tard dans l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e, causant d&rsquo;importants d\u00e9g\u00e2ts et faisant de nouvelles victimes. En revanche, d&rsquo;importantes r\u00e9gions de l&rsquo;h\u00e9misph\u00e8re nord ont \u00e9t\u00e9 extr\u00eamement chaudes et s\u00e8ches. La Chine a connu la plus longue vague de chaleur jamais enregistr\u00e9e et le deuxi\u00e8me \u00e9t\u00e9 le plus sec, ce qui a permis au fleuve Yangtze d&rsquo;atteindre son niveau le plus bas en ao\u00fbt. Certaines r\u00e9gions d&rsquo;Europe ont \u00e9galement connu des records de temp\u00e9rature, le Royaume-Uni atteignant des temp\u00e9ratures de plus de 40 degr\u00e9s Celsius. Cependant, cela a eu un co\u00fbt : la s\u00e9cheresse et les incendies de for\u00eat ont frapp\u00e9 de nombreuses r\u00e9gions, affectant la vie de nombreuses personnes.<br \/>\nCet article n&rsquo;est qu&rsquo;un aper\u00e7u des effets du changement climatique en 2022, bien d&rsquo;autres \u00e9v\u00e9nements d\u00e9vastateurs ont eu lieu.
