Climate Wise Ambassador
Dr. Danielle Marr has a background in healthcare, graduating from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, Canada in 2010. She attended Wilfrid Laurier University where she studied Kinesiology in the honours program. Dr. Marr furthered her education by obtaining her certificate in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University as well as becoming a Professional Life Coach with the Certified Coaches Federation. Dr. Marr is a healer, who after successfully completing the Health Effects of Climate Change course offered by Harvard, realized it is time to look at the bigger picture – it’s time we heal the world. Both direct and indirect health effects of climate change are rarely addressed, and cannot be ignored. Danielle successfully completed training with Northumbria University, becoming qualified to calculate carbon footprints.
A Canadian living in Bermuda, Dr. Marr is constantly active outdoors. She was a competitive figure skater growing up in Ontario. She is an avid snowboarder in the winter, but a marathon runner and triathlete in the summer months.
As a boy mom to a 4 year old, Danielle wants her son to be able to play outside safely and one day experience travel and be able to explore this beautiful planet.
